Smt Parmeshwari Devi Bajaj was born in the year 1928 in a small village - Churijeetgarh in Rajasthan.She got married to Shri Ramkumar Bajaj at the early age of thirteen.The couple shifted to Guwahati where Shri Ramkumar Bajaj started his foodgrain business.He later shifted to Shillong where he also took up the distribution of Hindustan lever Limited.
Smt Parmeshwari Devi Bajaj passed away on the 5th of Sept 2008 at her residence at Polo Hills,Shillong.Despite her conservative background she was very modern in her thoughts.She was very strong with a very positive attitude.She was very active socially.
She is survived by her grandson Shri Banwari Lal Bajaj , Great grandchildren – Rahul Ritu and Gaurav and her great great grandchildren.At the time of her demise there were 5 Generations staying under the same roof.Both her great grand sons are Ex edmundians.Her demise is a great loss to our family as she always raised the morale of all our family members.
